Fun With Fire :D

Since the Halloween just passed I thought I'd share this forgotten hollows eve game, this treasure is called "Blow Out the Candle".

The rules are simple enough children are blindfolded and a candle is placed within the room, first child to blow out the candle is the winner. But the rules aren't what give this game its thrill, I like to think it's the fact that children are lumbering around blindfolded trying to blow out fire in a room full of flammable decorations. Surely hidden somewhere out of the camera's shot is a grown up with a giant pale of water. What kind of sadistic moron thought this was a good idea? Come'on kiddies we will teach you how much fun a lit flame really can be with blind ruckus. Stay classy creepers.

Keeping Up With the Jones

Oook...Leave it to me to dig up the obscure horror movies. This movie called 'Mr. Jones' had displayed a whopping 1 1/2 stars, now I'm not the one to judge that because there have been plenty of low rated movies on Netflix and Amazon that I thought were amazing. Starting off the movie was cutesy with the lovey couple on some sort of manifest destiny to their new cabin. Right off the bat you can tell something is a little off with the beloved boyfriend Scott. The movie is set up in a video cam low budget documentary sense, as the boyfriend dragged his girl out to the middle of no-where and convinced her to abandoned everything on his whim to shoot a nature documentary. You know, like ya do...

Anyywayyy it doesn't start to get promising till they find this crazy masked guy out there who apparently ends up being this cult/underground/artist who builds these amazingly crazy scarecrows and has been sending them out to random people for years. Upon this discovery the boyfriend and girlfriend said screw it, forget nature, lets do a documentary on this guy!! While some of the scenes make you want to shake the T.V. and scream something happen already!! I can honestly say it will keep you guessing the whole time. I won't give away the ending but I can honestly say the trippy-ness of the movie is worth the wait. So all you horror freaks enjoy this crazy ride.

Creepy Cartoon Alert!!

Who doesn't love creepy cartoons?! If your a fan of these odd animations I highly suggest you checkout Cartoon Network's new show "Over the Garden Wall". So far they are only a few episodes into the series so it would be extremely simple for you to get caught up on everything. The characters are intriguing and the setting is down right dreary.

So far the story centers around two brothers who have gotten themselves lost in the woods and are trying to find their way home. But what I'm geeking out most about is this most recent episode 'Songs of the Dark Lantern' which gives a giant wink to the old Cab Calloway and Betty Boop cartoons. I don't know maybe I'm wrong but I suggest you check it out for yourself!!!

The Never-ending Struggle

Sorry guys for another personal post on here. But lately stress has just gotten the best of me, I'm finding it impossible for someone like me who is a young adult to find a job that isn't just seasonal sale or incredibly sketchy. They have these job searching sites and you look over them and fill out online form after online form until your eyes are bloodshot from squinting into the screen and you've practically lost all human emotion as you've been regurgitating your personal information so many times you start to feel like your at the type writer in the Shinning. Meanwhile your funds are dwindling down to nothing and your parents are hunching over you watching your slow creeping doom which will only lead you sulking back to their door and giving up every personal freedom you had gained when you had first moved out as a fresh faced and bright eyed young adult.

The stress is literally killing me, if I'm not desperately showing up for job interviews that are incredibly questioning just to feel like I'm moving in some sort of direction, I'm sitting at home wonder how long before I completely lose my mind and start looking for junk shrapnel to turn in? Surely I can't be the only one with this problem, the constant concern and stern phone calls from  my parents are anything but reassuring. I understand they mean nothing but the best but seriously is there any job that will give you the chance of a position without previously having held the same said position? Or is the world of young adults doomed to work seasonal after seasonal job till they find that white wale of security that isn't in the form of their teen bed with the same teen curfew under their parent's roof?!

Hopefully things will turn around soon and I'll be able to sustain myself. Until then curious readers I will continue to post here....

Can I Has Dis?

But seriously look how cute this is!! Does anyone know where I can hunt down one of these bad boys?

One of The Creepiest Videos on YouTube

What I'm about to tell you guys about next literally gave me nightmares when I first heard about it. This is the story of the Elisa Lam Video. Elisa Lam was a 21 year old Canadian who mysteriously disappeared. When she went missing she was staying in California at the Cicil Hotel. You can literally watch one of the last moments she was ever seen on the Cicil Hotel security camera for the elevator. (This is a video that is commonly found on Youtube simply by typing in Elisa Lam Video).

The video is extremely odd leading up to tons of speculations behind the reasons of her disappearance. People have suggested because of her agitated and paranoid behavior it she could have been mentally ill. Another person points out that her actions could be due to some sort of drug that would cause you to believe that you were being pursued. Others say there was indeed something or someone after her and have suggested that the cause behind this is completely paranormal.

She was later found drowned in one of the hotel's water tanks. When there was an investigation into her death they found that she came out clear in the toxicology report ruling out any kind of substance abuse. The LAPD later would state that it was Lam who was behind her own end as she suffered from extreme depression and even a Bi-polar disorder. Many people have disregarded this report as it seems nearly impossible for the tiny young woman to maneuver to the locked, alarm triggered roof door, scale the ten foot water tank and drown herself. Several people have tried to re-create the occurrence finding it unrealistic that this girl could have done this alone. Also if you look very closely to the video you can slow it down and see where the security footage has clearly been tampered with..

In an even creepier turn of events the Cicel Hotel has been home to several serial killers and peppered with a history of strange deaths and suicides.

Watch the video, you be the judge...

You Will Meet a Tall Dark Shadowy....Iceberg???

Here's one that was recently suggested to me, and that is the mystery behind 'Julia' and Apollo 33A5. I haven't really done many creature or alien posts so far, so this one was alot of fun to look into.

It all starts with a simple sound recording on March 1, 1999. The recording that is now known as 'Julia' was taken by the NOAA. (The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) They claimed that the recording was nothing more than a large iceberg running aground off of Antarctica. But many people beg to differ as NASA's Apollo 33A5 was able to capture pictures of the event, many pictures and documents are still classified, but the pictures apparently show a large shadow two times large than the empire state building swaying around the Cape Cadre. This pictures are said to be in perfect synchronization with the recording. The argument of monster or iceberg is still a heated debate...

If you want to hear the recording yourself there is a sample of it on Youtube. Check it out it is incredibly eerie and I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Sleep Tight

Many of you have probably experienced at one time or heard of the phenomenon known as sleep paralysis. This sensation is so terrifying because the victim cannot move and normally cannot speak but still has all the other senses vividly aware of their surroundings. While such an ordeal is shocking on its own, the many wives tales that were born from this is by far more frightening..

Commonly known as the 'Old Hag':

Victims of the old hag are said to wake up unable to move, or speak. Instead they complain of having a giant weight upon their chest almost as if there was an apparition squatting upon them. This sensation often makes it hard to breathe but yet not impossible. Along with that horrible symptom its also said that they will here creepy noises about them while awful smells penetrate the room.

I myself have experienced this once and saw no hag but instead a black mass gathering in the corner of the ceiling above me. It only grew thicker and darker as it seeped along the wall like some poisonous smog. The smell in the room was only comparable to rotting meat. Unable to move I could only watch it until I could gather my motor skills again. When talking to others about the strange happenings the reasonable answer was always a simple hallucination from the paranoia.  However it seemed a bit too real to be just a case of paranoia in my opinon....

All Hallows Eve Delights

Hope everyone had an awesome Halloween, and even though this delightful holiday is over, I'll keep providing the creeps and shivers. :D

Skull and Cross Bones

If you bite it and you die; it's poisonous.

If it bites you and you die; it's venomous.

What is A Poor Girl to Do?

The Aka Manto is a Japanese urban legend and it goes like so...

"He is a ghost that haunts a girls bathroom and no girl can resist his charm. He hides in the stalls and when a girl enters he will appear before her and ask, "Which do you prefer? The red cloak or the blue cloak?" If you say red he slits your throat letting the blood drain down your clothes making them turn red. If you say blue, he chokes to death letting your face turn a pretty shade of blue."

Not So Strait Jacket.

Straitjackets have always been used to restrain and symbolize the most insane of human kind. But I bet you didn't know they use to have a deeper purpose outside of the common restraint. A jacket known as a Ghent's straitjacket was made out of leather instead of cloth, they were designed to make the wearer as uncomfortable as possible even to the means of extreme torture. When fully buckled into place the wear's limbs would be strained into incredible distortion. The buckles would even include their legs from time to time. They would be left in this condition for hours upon hours which would eventually melt into days, the lasting effects that this device would have on them would be wretched and permanent. Their spines would be misshapen for the rest of their wretched lives.

I'm Feeling A Bit Pinkish...

There were two photographers who were determined to catch something extraordinary after hearing about a mansion on the outskirts of town. They had heard rumors of the mansion being haunted and they sought to see the ghost themselves. One of them being rather successful as he had aimed his camera at the second story window and snapped three photographs. The ghost that had been captured came to be known as "The Pink Lady"... Judge for yourself what is upon the film. (Green Castle-Indiana).

I Spy With My Creepy Eye...

"In November of 1970, hikers came across the charred, battered body of a woman in Norway's Isdalen Valley. The body was surrounded by sleeping pills (many which had been ingested) and bottles of gas. Her fingerprints were sanded off. She was later linked to a pair of suitcases found in a train station in Bergen; police found all labels in her clothes and had been removed. They also found 500 German marks, a prescription bottle for lotion (with the doctor's name and date torn off), and a diary with coded entries. Her autopsy indicated dental work performed in Latin America. It was eventually discovered that the woman had traveled throughout Europe using different fake names. There were other clues; witnesses reported her in different wigs, changing hotels frequently, and speaking multiple languages.

Information on the case is scant and hard to come by; a witness came forward three decades later, claiming to have seen the woman in the forest followed by two men in black coats, saying the police told him to keep quiet when he initially reported what he had seen. It's generally assumed that the Isdal woman must have been some sort of spy; 1970 would have been a ripe year for undercover activities in the Cold War. Despite one of the most massive investigations in Norway history, the woman's identity will likely forever remain a mystery. Curiously-and very creepily-this tale bears a striking resemblance to the Tamen Shud case in 1948 which also involved an unknown victim with tags removed from his clothes, a coded diary, and a suitcase turning up in a train station abandoned. That case is also still unsolved."

Riddle me This.

Wilberforce Riddle

"Samuel Wilberforce was a British clergyman who rose eventually to become the Bishop of Oxford. In 1859, Charles Darwin published "On the Origin of Species", advancing the theory of evolution. There was a tremendous backlash from the church, especially Wilberforce, and a debate was staged in 1860, wherein both parties would argue their points. Darwin was too sick to attend, and sent acolyte Thomas Huxley in his place. Wilberforce and Huxley locked horns, while neither definitely "won" the debate, most would say Huxley came out on top, even causing a religious woman to faint at this statement: "I am not ashamed to have a monkey for an ancestor but I would be ashamed to be connected with a man who used his great gifts to obscure the truth."

Besides his career in the service of the church, Wilberforce was fond of writing, and riddles in particular. When he died in 1873, he left this one behind, no one knows the answer..

"Sweetest of sound, in orchestra heard,
Yet in orchestra never had been,
Bird in light plumage, but less like a bird,
Nothing in nature has ever been seen,
On earth I expire, in water I die,
Yet I run, swim, and fly,
If I cannot be guessed by a boy or a man,
A girl or woman I certainly can!"

The clues are highly intriguing, and several theories have been put forth (perhaps most notably,  that he was referring to a whale), but the answer most certainly died with the bishop."

Birds of a Feather

I don't know about you but I am loving this season of American Horror Story! Above right you might clearly recognize the character Meep, but do you know similar dressed person on the left? That is Koo-Koo the Bird Girl aka Minne Ha Ha aka Minnie Woolsey. She appeared in the film "Freaks" and commonly performed as a side show attraction. While she did not have any lines in the movie she did dance around and appeared in many scenes dressed in the feathery costume above. Suffering from a rare condition called Virchow-Seckel syndrome, she was bald, toothless, and severely short sighted. In her side show performance she would often come out speaking gibberish adorned in a Native American costume. The cause of her death is currently unknown, but it is said she continued performing well into the 1960's. Spending the end of her days at the Coney Island side show.

While the character Meep does not have many connections to Minnie Ha Ha other than the feathered costume from her movie debut it is still an amazing nod toward this iconic side show performer.

Freakishly Personal

Hello everyone! Sorry my posts have been on and off lately, I've been job hunting like a crazy person. I've got some prospects lined up and I'm very nervous/excited to start a new chapter in my personal life. But I'm also going to make a more of an effort to keep pumping out some deliciously creepy posts for you guys. I don't know about you but I am currently loving the new American Horror Story, it gives so many nods to stories and movies that have ties to their story line. Thus for the next several posts I'll be highlighting the wonderful connections I've noticed.

22 Terrifying True Tales Of People Messing Around With Ouija Boards

With all they hype behind the new movie Ouija coming out I thought that this would be a delightfully creepy read for you followers. :)

"1. My first mistake was calling a spirit a “coward”
My friend had mentioned that she had one, so I asked her to pull the board out so I could check it out. At first she said no, but then agreed to do it as long as she didn’t have to participate. After she had the board set up I asked “Is there anyone in here”….nothing. So, being a dumb teenager I said “If anything is in here and not talking, you’re a coward”. The board was put away after that.
Fast forward about a week later and have me sleeping upstairs on my couch. I wake up on a stereotypical “Stormy Night”. Thunder and lightning, wind and rain..the works. I look around to see why I woke up and couldn’t see a thing, and decide to try and fall back asleep. After laying there for about 30s I hear from downstairs “Get the boy” in a very raspy, wispy voice. I open my eyes and listen……nothing. Start to go back to sleep…”GET THE BOY”, it was MUCH louder this time. Then my downstairs door SLAMS shut. I freak the F*ck out because nobody slept down there and we had no drafts.

2. It spoke in Latin
Doing the board with six or seven people, only one of my friends knows Latin and he is not touching the oracle, the contact starts speaking to us in Latin. This same friend later pulled his hand back from the oracle having received what looked like a small scratch on his wrist, not bleeding but bright red as if fresh. His girlfriend at the time was plagued by a contact they had made and would wake with strange bruises on her legs.

3. A creepy doll
I have a terrifying story about an ouija board. I got a call from my cousin who said that he, his brother, his dad, and his best friend were using an ouija in their basement. Prior to starting they took a large porcelain doll out of the room because it was creepy and placed it in an adjacent room face down on a pile of towels.
My cousin took a short break because the board was just spouting nonsense and he went to take a shit. His dad and brother and friend started asking the board questions without him, one of the questions was who is in the other room? It just started spouting random numbers and when my cousin came back into the room his brother said that it wasn’t working that they were going to put it away and he showed him the answer to the last question he asked and he said “dude that’s my social security number!, then they started to talk to whatever started spewing answers out, it told my cousin he would die in the air force. At this point they tell the entity they are communicating with to prove itself. It then spelled out the word “DOLL” and they were like wtf.
They opened the door to check on the porcelain doll they had laid in the other room and when they opened the door the doll was standing up right in front of the door staring right at them. Everyone freaked and ran out of the house. His best friend burned the ouija board and I think he temporarily went nuts for a few months. My cousin for some reason then joined the air force and is on a base in Europe now.

4. My dad was in the spirit world
It talked about my dead father. Spot on. It was just so freaky, and talking about my dad kind of makes me uncomfortable to begin with.

5. I asked it how long I had to live
We all asked it a question that only the person asking would know the answer too. It would answer the questions.
One question that somebody asked was “what was the name of the boat i went on a cruise on when i was 6?” it answered.
We played with this thing forever, we had coldspot experiences and would place a candle where the coldspot was and the candle would burn sideways not straight up and down. One night we all aksed it how long we had left to live and this is where it gets scary. Everybody asked and they had 50-60+ years left.
I go to ask and it says 10. I ask 10 years and it says days.
I pretty much shit a brick at this point. It said i was gonna be killed in a car accident by a girl named emma. We would ask it 3 days later and it would say I had 7 days left. Ask it 2 days later it said I would have 5 days left and so on.
Im freaking out at this point, carrying a bible in my pocket and wearing a big cross. I finally tell my dad and he doesnt believe me so I made one out of a piece of paper and used a cd to show him. It worked and he flipped out and told me that I didnt have to go to school the day I was supposed to die. I didn’t go to school and nothing happened.

6. Choked
I have no evidence, and I do not care if you don’t believe me. I’ve used a board with results, and let something into my home. And have been physically assaulted by this entity.
It started out with that feeling like you’re being watched, and doors closing, and footsteps on the hardwood when you were home alone. And progressed slowly into being kept awake by something shaking the bed, or pulling off your covers. Sometimes even whispering your name. The board would disappear for days on end, then show up in places you never would have put it. I became obsessed with it. Then it was a black mass in the corner of the room. Or the silhouette of a man watching you from the doorway. After that it escalated pretty quickly. I had my hair pulled. Fingers pricked. Scratched. Choked. Held down in bed while this thing whispered in my ear in what could have only been Latin….. We had our house blessed and the bad thing hasn’t shown back up. Just the normal occurrences now. But I will never again play with one of those boards.

7. “I can see you through the window”
I was about 12 or 13 spending the night at a friend’s house, goofing around with the Ouija board with him & his sister and we were getting all sorts of gibberish plus words spelled out, just kind of scaring ourselves for fun not taking it very seriously when we got the message “I can see you through the window” and then “I can see you through his eyes” or something like that…there was just a small window in the basement room where we were, and just the back yard and woods past the driveway visible through that window…we asked it more questions and it said “I’m under the car” so we somehow got up the nerve to go out with a flashlight and peer under the car, where we saw a huge black stray cat which was hissing.
We ran inside freaking out and at that exact moment the power failed and all the lights in the house went out. We just about actually shit ourselves. Few minutes later the power came back and we sat up till dawn that night scared and never played with the board again.

8. Our first mistake
My wife and I had some unexplained things going on in the house we were renting. So we got a board so we could try to figure out what we were dealing with. Bad idea. The board was just a standard plain board. We used it one night to speak with (hopefully) our spirit. What we didn’t realize is that Oujia boards open the door for anything to come through and speak. The looking piece flew off the board near the end of our session and we had no real answers to anything we were speaking with something, but it was very evasive with its answers. Things got worse in the house and we eventually broke our lease and moved…Radios and TVs going on by themselves water running, after the board though things got bad. Voices, moving objects, and my wife says I got possessed one night, but I can’t validate that as I was asleep.

9. OMG
My mum has warned me against using them due to her own experience: she used one at a friend’s house when she was young.
Nothing of consequence happened during the use of the board, yet she noted that whatever ghost they were ‘chatting’ with seemed to be violent and have it in for her. She shrugged it off and left in her car.
On the way home, she hit and gruesomely killed a horse which ‘appeared out of nowhere’, running at her car. In the middle of a city. In the afternoon.

10. “Woodchipper accident”
My great aunt has never married, and when I asked why, my dad told me the story. Apparently when she was sixteen she had a pretty serious boyfriend. When she used a board, she asked if they would get married, and it said no. She asked if they would break up… no… asked if one of them would die and it said yes, and when she asked which of them it said ‘goodbye’. A week later he was in a woodchipper accident at the mill where he worked.

11. We lost 10 hours
My friend and I were about 14 or 15. She had a Ouija board that we used quite often. (I always thought she was pushing it for the fun factor, I never took it to seriously) One night we started , and it was about 9 p.m we started getting very strange sayings, none of them i can remember 27 years later) and we got a name. although the name i have forgotten over the years, it said he was from Malaysia. He was here to protect us. (i do remember that much) The next thing we know its 7a.m! It was like we blinked and the sun was up. It was VERY freaky. we LOST 10 HOURS of our life. Neither of us remember anything about it. We were just sitting there at the table staring at each other like “WTF HAPPENED??” To bad we didn’t have a 3rd person there to tell us. She would never use it again, I did, but i never had that happen again.

12. Warning
The last experience I had with a quija board, the plachett flew across the room, smashing against the wall, of it’s own power. They ARE a doorway, and unless you know how to interigate the spirit, you have no idea what so ever who or what is communicating with you. You’ve opened a door, and called them through. oops.

13. Accurate death prediction
I was staying at a hotel with friends in northern Ontario for a chess tournament. Geeky I know. Can’t exactly remember the town. Anyway, we were looking for some thrills at night and someone busted out a board. One of those official ones you can get from toys’r’us. We asked a few questions I can’t remember but I will never forget when we asked if it knew if any of us was going to die. Yeah I know strange question to ask. Uh so it spelled out a persons name that was with us at the time. And then a date which was approximately a year later. My friend died a year later from cancer in his knee. He knew about it 6 months before he died. To this day I am still curious about the device but damned if I’ll ever touch it again.

14. I need proo–
Only did it once when I was like 17. In a roomful of people and one kid said something like “this is all fake, i need pr….” before he finished the word “proof” the lights in the entire house went off. If that was a coincidence, it was the oddest one i’ve ever seen. No one else was in the house and the fuse box was buried in the back of a closet. The kid’s dad had to come home and turn it back on, said it never happened before (entire circuit tripped).

15. It knew Arabic
I always thought these things were bs. However years ago this changed when I did it once with some random people at a get together. We were talking to all sorts of different “spirits” and I wasn’t taking any of it seriously. Then I thought of a way to put this to the test. I’m Kuwaiti American and was born in Kuwait. So I know arabic and knew of a friend of my brother that past away recently. So I asked to speak with him. Now only one person knew me at the get together and even then didn’t know that much about me. I was definitely the only one who could speak Arabic (I was in Oklahoma at the time). So I asked in Arabic how he died. The board spelled out car crash. I was a bit shocked but still didn’t buy it completely. So I asked a more detailed question. I asked in Arabic how old was he when he died. It pointed to 1 and then 3. That’s when I started really freaking out. No one would have ever known of these details let alone understood what I was asking. I asked for more details on the crash (he flew out of the sunroof) and after that I stopped. Haven’t touched a Ouija board since.

16. S-A-T-A-N
My grandma bans them from her house, because once when she was younger her and her friends messed with one. They asked who they were talking to, it spelled out satan and then her friend (who owned the board) started convulsing and from then on swore she felt a presence when she sleeps.

17. C-U-N-T
About two to three years ago my friend brought her Ouija board to my house so we could play with it. The first few times it was used, I just watched while some of my other friends used it. Then I decided I would join in on it. We asked if there was a spirit present and it went to yes. We asked it it’s name, but instead of just going to the letters to spell it out, it started going to random letters, not making out any specific word. I asked for it’s name again and it spelled out “B I T C H”. I started freaking out and then it spelled “C U N T”, then went right back to random letters again. I freaked out and left the room after that. whatever it was it either was just really mean or something other than a spirit. Probably never using one again after that.

18. Strange markings
My brother built a ouija board once and had some pretty weird encounters. Ill have to ask him for the details some time.
Anyways he shaved down his pointer thing once and found weird markings on it that only showed up under a black light. No markings found in the wood the pointer was cut from, and markers would show up as black under the black light while this showed red. Anyone else experience this?

19. “This is not a game anymore”
Perfect story. 100% true. About 15 years ago, My sister had some friends over one night. They were in the basement watching some scary movie. They had an Ouija board. They started cussing at it and calling it “shit” and “fucking fake”. It stopped responding so they began watching the movie again.
All of a sudden, all the lights and electricity goes out. They start screaming. Then the tv comes on all static and is blairing noisse. They were yelling and crying. Then, the tv shuts off and comes back on to just a black screen. The words, ” This is not a game anymore” roll across the screen in all white. After, the tv shuts off and and they are in complete darkness. They run out of the house.
Afterwards, they go back to the house and our dog hid and when they found it, all it did was bark and look very angry at them.

20. Figure 8s
a girl brought her authentic ouija board made out of maple straight from Salem. Ironically, she was very Catholic, but loved her board, it and was a very interesting few nights in the dorm with it. I think the second night we were playing with it, and it was going slow, not much movement, meh. I had my hand off the planchette because I still wasn’t so sure about the thing. Suddenly, it was like cold fingers grabbed into my shoulders ever so slightly, and this terrible feeling in the back of my mind just came to the surface. I looked to the board and the planchette started moving in a demonic pattern, I think figure 8s this time. I looked at the girl and said “I have a bad feeling about that” in time for her to realize what was happening. She stopped the movement and bid the spirit good bye. In that moment, the icy grip loosened and all was well.
Everyone was like “woaah” when the girl explained that the figure 8 meant that something was trying to get out of the board. (This is common lore that goes with Ouija usage.)

21. Max is always around
When I was about 14 my best friend had a sleep over birthday party. Being the silly little girls we were we decided to make a ouija board to use, not really knowing any of the rules like making it say goodbye. After an hour or so I wandered off to read some tarot cards and watch the rest of the Exorcist with the other couple of girls who didn’t want to commune with spirits. (Rereading that last sentence I sound like such a stereotype. I still use tarot cards though so I never grew out of this phase it seems.)
Here’s were it got weird. After I left the spirit talking to my friends changed. As in it switched to a different spirit altogether. His name was Max and he was looking for me. I’ve never known a Max in my life. My friends yelled out what he was saying as it moved and I was writing off as them teasing me until he started giving them information about me that no one at that party knew. Things about minor abuse I was facing and other little things.
That freaked me out right out. I begged for them to stop playing, even after Max tried to convince me that he was not trying to hurt me. My friends were awesome and stopped playing before I started crying and I thought that was the end of it.
The next time a Ouija board came out was the next year and only one girl from the original party was among the group. We were baking a cake so when the buzzer went off she and I headed up to take it out of the oven. When we got back to the group another girl turned to me and asked ‘Who’s Max?’ Apparently he’s stuck around after that first time. If my friends want to use a Ouija board they don’t invite me over unless they want to speak to Max. He’s always around.
A few times in my life I’ve heard a voice call out my name. it usually makes me stop for a minute, no more but at least twice had I not stopped I would have been in the path of a car going to fast to stop before it would have hit me. I strongly believe Max has stuck around to be helpful but had we not pulled out that Ouija board I would have never known about him.

22. June 24, 2987
My GF told me this story about an experience she had with a ouija board while in high school sometime in 1986. She had a friend named Johnny who was suffering from CF or some other debilitating illness, who had recently been hospitalized as a result. Both she and her friend Shelly visited Johnny regularly in the hopes of keeping his spirits up and for a quick recovery. One night after visiting Johnny, they were at Shelly’s when they decided to try out a ouija board. After a while, they started communicating with a spirit who seemed to know a lot about them that it really shouldn’t. After some banal questions about boys and general questions one would expect teenaged girls to ask, my GF decided to ask about Johnny and his condition. The board quickly spelled out “24 June 1987 Johnny wont have to worry anymore” and went to “goodbye”. My GF and Shelly were so convinced that board was giving them a date for recovery that they actually wrote the message down and sealed it in an envelope. The following year on 24 June, it turned out that Johnny indeed no longer needed to worry about his condition.
It was the day he died."

Little House on the Nopey

"The John Lawson House might be the creepiest house in America. No one knows who lives there, aside from a number of mannequins with a habit of changing clothing and moving on their own during the night. Their gestures point towards an unsolved riddle, a story that unravels every day, regardless of whether anyone is there to see it.

Many believe the secret to the dolls lies in the history of the house and property. During a two-week cold wave in the winter of 1871, a train crashed two-hundred feet from the house, killing 22 people on impact. Often times the dolls are found pointing towards the area of the crash site. Other times, they’re discovered with their heads looking towards the only other historical house left of the street, which has sat abandoned for many years.

The house itself was built in 1845 and was one of the only surviving buildings left after a massive fire destroyed nearly all the property on the block. Curiously, the dolls are regularly found holding strange objects which change places as frequently as they do. Books, empty birdcages, towels, brushes and overflowing cups of potpourri have all been photographed by curious passers by, tucked into plastic hands or perched in laps. Sometimes at night a faint light can be seen in the kitchen, shining through the dark drapes that conceal the inside of the house from curious eyes."

I'm Just Gonna Leave This Right Here.....

The Writing on the Wall

No one knows of the person responsible for the writings in an abandoned house of Chongqing China. The walls seem to tell the story of some sort of superhero and his epic adventures.  One of the passages upon the walls describes, " I was 17…  I have reactions like lightning, hearing like a bat, my vision is like a hawk, and I am as strong as a general". While this story isn't particularly creepy or horrific I still found the mystery behind the cottage intriguing.  Besides no matter who you are, writtings in abandon buildings are always fun to read.

The Mystery of Oleg Mitasov

Oleg Mitasov lived in Kharkov, Ukraine and died in 1999. While he was a master of Economics he was more renowned for mental illness. The rumor of Oleg is that his illness developed after he had left the manuscript of his PhD thesis behind in a streetcar, thus never becoming a PhD. Oleg covered every inch of his flat from the walls to the furnishing in disturbing scrawling. Many of the writing was repetitive and often illegible. When it came to space Oleg would simply write over what had already been written, resulting in layers upon layers of the creepy ramblings.

Later on after his death his apartment was sold by his mother and refurbished. It is now utilized as an office space.

It's Only A Dream...

When I read this it really made me feel uneasy. The idea is incredibly spooky, I have had this sensation many nights and have jolted myself awake with my heart pounding violently in my ears.
